How we source opinions
A pro or a con is a short paraphrase in our words, at most 80 words, with a source link and the day we checked it. A quotation is copied as written, at most 25 words, and attributed to the person or publication that said it.
Some models have enough independent opinions to mark the status “sufficient”. The “has sourced parent opinions” filter keeps only those. Others are “insufficient”. The page shows whatever was sourced, plus a note that there are not enough independent opinions yet. Empty lines are left empty. We do not fill them in.
An opinion or a quote is not published without a source link and the date we checked it. A quote longer than 25 words is not published.
We do not invent reviews, star ratings, or a consensus. The US FTC Consumer Reviews Rule bans fake or misrepresented reviews. That rule is cited on the safety page.
Opinions are not part of the score. An independent consumer test can be, when it disputes a newborn fit: those newborn points are left off. That rule is on How we rank.
We do not pull reviews from Reddit, and we do not copy shop review text. Amazon does not give us review text we can republish.
